Produced by prize-winning tea farmer Ōyama, in Sonogi, southern Kyushu. Tamaryokucha tea leaves are rolled with less pressure and therefore not straight like sencha. The tea expresses the terroir of the tea garden which is often covered in morning fog arising from the facing inland sea. Umami and minerals, great with seafood and vegetables. First flush.
