A wonderful, deep green tea made of single cultivar Okumidori from tea farmer Kazuhiko Onoue in Sonogi, Kyushu. Tamaryokucha is a traditional tea from Kyushu. The leaves get less pressure in the rolling process, which gives them a bit curly appearance. The tea has a mild sweetness and long aftertaste. MIDORI is very rich in umami, sometimes even visible as white powdery flakes. Water temperature: 50-70°C. 4 g per cup. Infuse 1 min. Pour till the last drop. Several infusions possible.
